The vagus nerve – the key to inner balance

A deep, conscious breath added by an unfamiliar movement – and we already feel different!

What is the vagus nerve and why is it so important?

The vagus nerve is the most important cranial nerve – it connects the brain with almost all organs and is part of the parasympathetic system.

There are different components in the autonomic nervous system, the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system is often referred to as the stress and performance nerve, and the parasympathetic nervous system as the rest and relaxation nerve – the vagus nerve is therefore an essential component for our well-being!

If it is weakened, this can lead to many unpleasant consequences:

⚡ Depression

⚡ Reduced heart rate variability

⚡ Digestive problems

⚡ States of anxiety

⚡ Tiredness and fatigue

BUT: It can be strengthened through targeted stimulation!

By understanding how your vagus nerve works, you will also get to know your nervous system better. This way, you will no longer feel helpless when it goes crazy again. — Dr. Arielle Schwartz, psychologist

In this 90 minute workshop I invite you to stimulate and strengthen the vagus nerve!

With simple and playful exercises from embodiment-focused approaches, we stimulate self-regulation and promote an even more powerful and beautiful radiance!
