The sympathetic nervous system is often referred to as the stress and performance nerve, and the parasympathetic nervous system as the rest and relaxation nerve &#8211; the vagus nerve is therefore an essential component for our well-being!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">If it is weakened, this can lead to many unpleasant consequences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">&#x26a1; Depression<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">&#x26a1; Reduced heart rate variability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">&#x26a1; Digestive problems<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">&#x26a1; States of anxiety<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">&#x26a1; Tiredness and fatigue<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">BUT: It can be strengthened through targeted stimulation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-plain is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#ccac00\"><strong>By understanding how your vagus nerve works, you will also get to know your nervous system better.
